What this is
Access codes protect manual sections that should stay restricted.
When to use it
Use this when private instructions are needed.
Steps
- Set the current access code.
- Share it with verified guests.
- Update it if needed and notify guests.
What to expect
- Correct code unlocks private details.
- In the public manual sidebar, Enter access code and Download manual appear only when the manual includes private content and access-code protection is enabled.
- Only the Cedar Blocks public sample manual shows its demo access code in the unlock dialog so anyone can explore the sample private sections; regular property manuals never show their access code.
- If private details exist but no code is saved yet, guests do not see those private details.
Common problems
- If unlock fails, confirm guests are using the latest code.
