Print a QR sign guests scan to order an add-on
Put one add-on, such as firewood, on a printed sign or Welcome Book page. Guests scan it, see the add-on with today’s price, and order it.

What this is
An order sign is a QR code for one add-on. The code opens that add-on in your guest manual, with the same Add to cart or Request booking button guests already see there. Orders arrive like any other add-on order.
When to use it
Use this for extras guests decide on during the stay: firewood by the fireplace, late checkout on the door, a welcome basket in the kitchen.
Steps
- Sign in. Order signs take payments, so the free Welcome Book builder does not offer them; it links to account sign-up instead.
- Create the add-on first: open Services, choose View add-ons, then Add add-on. Set it to Active and leave Visible to guests on.
- After you save a new add-on, choose Print order sign in the confirmation. Hosts can also choose the QR button (Print order sign) beside an add-on in the add-ons list.
- Or open your manual, choose PDF manuals, then in Create sign (or Add information page for the Welcome Book) choose Order QR for an add-on. Pick the add-on and choose Create sign or Add order page. Create an add-on opens the add-on creator in a new tab; come back and it appears in the list.
- Choose a design and paper size as for any sign, then choose Download PDF and print it.
What to expect
- The sign shows Scan to order and the add-on name. It never prints a price, so a price change never makes a sign wrong; guests see the current price when they scan.
- The code’s web address starts with stayperk.com followed by your property’s manual name, so guests can see where it leads before they open it.
- Instant add-ons open with Add to cart and go through the usual checkout. Add-ons that need your approval open Request booking, and you approve them as usual.
- Orders from a code are property-level, like orders from your manual: the guest chooses the date and gives an email address. The order records that it came from a printed sign or Welcome Book page.
- Printing the same add-on again reuses the same code, so older prints keep working.
- Order signs and pages are printed only. They do not appear as sections in your app manual, which already lists the add-on under Services.
Common problems
- If guests see that the add-on is not available to order, check that it is Active, Visible to guests, and priced, and that your currency is set in Settings under Tax & currency.
- If guests see that the guide is not available, publish your manual again.
- If the add-on is missing from the order picker, it belongs to another property or was deleted.
